Seamlessly blending perfected historical photographic processes with state of the art experimental photography enables me to create a distinct contemporary mode. Fusing these rivaling dynamics facilitates the creation of highly captivating photographs in my artistic practice.

My creative cultivation starts far away from the camera. I adhere strictly to a philosophical idea known as previsualization. This approach heavily focuses on thematic development and compositional design. I am inspired by history, the intricacies of human relationships, and the psychological dynamics at play between us and our environment. These kinds of themes are imbued through a larger portion of my artistic work. Exploring the depths of historical photographic practice, prior to the inception of my next image, enables me to create fresh and dynamic work. I like to consider every element when I work. Design elements, subject matter, chemistry and paper are a few examples of many things considered before I entertain an idea. Interplaying digital and darkroom processes is an area of interest in my practice and in the coming years, I aim to transition this into a new and prospectus style.
